Willie Wallet – Complete Emptiness

“The title of the record Complete Emptiness derives from the periods when you feel really empty, which can be a state achieved or given. Whatever way you reach it, it may teach you a lesson or two.”

I took inspiration from both the album title and the music itself. Through careful composition and a harmonious colour palette, I aimed to convey the emotions that coursed through me as I listened to each track.

CSS – City Grrrl

I participated in the first ever Secret 7" competition in 2012, founded by Kevin King and Jordan Stokes. Secret 7" invites designers, artists, and fans to create album covers for seven different artists' singles. The records are created by pressing seven iconic tracks onto 7” vinyl, with each track having 100 different cover arts. Two copies of each individual cover were printed, one for sale and one for the creator. The money raised from sales is donated to charity organizations. Some of the covers were picked by the artists and others were voted through a website.

I designed a cover for CSS's song "City Grrrl." I depicted Lovefoxxx, the lead vocalist of the band. The band selected my cover art among hundreds of candidates and praised it on their Facebook page.
